Abstract

There is a low  achievement in  javelin throw  in athletics among  players of the University of Kirkuk team. The research aims to identify the relationship between the explosive force of  arms and the distinctive force with speed  the two legs and their relationship to javelin throw achievement among Kirkuk University team players. The researcher hypothesizes that there is a significant correlation between the explosive force  of  arms and  distinctive  force with speed  of the two legs and their relationship to achievement in  of javelin throw among Kirkuk University players. The research sample consists of (6) players from the University of Kirkuk team  of javelin throw. The researcher used  the descriptive approach of correlative relations for its suitability of the research nature  and  statistical treatment of the results to extract the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and the simple Pearson correlation coefficient (person). The researcher concluded when training the throwing activities, and in particular , javelin throw, attention should be paid to the explosive force of  arms in order to achieve the farthest throwing distance (achievement) because of its high correlation and attention to capacity training  of the physical activities that depend on it mainly in javelin throw as an explosive force and the distinctive force with speed and maximum force and the adoption of explosive force as a basic physical indicator in javelin throw exercises as well as concentrating on skill performance of javelin throw  and conducting  similar studies on other activities.
