The reaction time and the speed of the ball and their relationship to the accuracy of the performance of the skill of crushing hitting the volleyball for the applicants

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the relationship between the reaction time and the speed of the ball with the accuracy of performing the skill of hitting the crushing volleyball for the applicants. The researchers used the descriptive approach in the style of correlations due to its suitability to the nature and problem of the research, and the research sample was chosen by the intentional method of (6) players of the Peshmerga Sports Club of Sulaymaniyah in volleyball for applicants for the sports season.

 2020-2021 and participants in the Iraqi Premier League (elite) in volleyball, and the researchers used a board device to measure the reaction time and a radar device to measure the speed of the ball. The researchers concluded that there was no correlation between the reaction time and the accuracy of the volleyball crushing skill, and the results also showed that there was no correlation between the speed of the ball and the accuracy of the volleyball crushing skill. The ball and the accuracy of crushing hitting when developing and preparing training curricula by coaches in order to raise the mental and skill level of the players that appeared non-moral through the study And the need to use modern devices, especially field devices, because of the accuracy of their results.
