The reality of the sports industry and its role in providing financial liquidity for the Iraqi Premier League clubs Handball from the point of view of its members

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the reality of the sports industry and its role in providing financial liquidity for the Iraqi Premier League clubs in handball from the point of view of its members. And the spatial headquarters of the sports clubs of the handball league. The research community was determined by the researcher from among the members of the administrative body of the handball league for the season, as their number reached (69) and a percentage of (100%). Participation in the league for the season (2021-2022), and the most prominent results were that there was a lack of financial liquidity for the teams participating in the Iraqi Handball League by not paying attention to the correct investment and by selling its shares to its pioneers and fans in order to increase its financial liquidity. There is no significant economic role for the sports industry in order to improve it in a large positive way. There is no role for the sports industry in providing large financial liquidity to the club through the inability to cover the expenses of the players and their needs. The weakness of the sports industry to provide the opportunity to invest in Iraqi handball sports clubs.
