Evaluating thinking styles according to the Sternberg model and their contribution to psychological sanity among handball players in the Iraqi Premier League

The study aimed to prepare a measure of thinking styles according to Sternberg’s theory among handball players in the Iraqi Premier League, construct a measure of psychological sanity among handball players in the Iraqi Premier League, and prepare a measure of self- and social compatibility for handball players in the Iraqi Premier League. The two researchers used the descriptive approach that It has a special place in the field of psychological research. The research community was represented by handball players in the Iraqi Premier League for the sports season (2022-2023), who numbered (243) players representing (15) clubs. The two researchers reached several conclusions, the most important of which are the standards prepared and designed by the researcher. The ability to measure each of the thinking styles, self-social harmony, and psychological sanity among handball players in the Iraqi Premier League. The thinking styles (conservative, local, hierarchical, governance, legislative, and external) have highly statistically significant correlations, respectively, with psychological sanity among the research sample.
