Abstract

The research aims to identify the values of some kinematic and geometric variables in the deadlift using the traditional method. Drawing the kinetic paths of the weight in the deadlift in the traditional way.

And achieving the construction of an applied model of the movement path of the research sample for deadlifting in the traditional way.

The researchers used the descriptive method using the analytical method to suit the nature of the research. The research sample consisted of advanced lifters, and their number was (10) lifters who were chosen intentionally.

The researchers used a questionnaire, test, and technical scientific observation, and they were conducted using a high-speed video camera, type Sony a7R Mark III, 120 images per second.

The researchers used kinematic analysis programs (Kenova 0.9.5) to obtain the kinematic variables of the movement path of the weight and the goniometric in the deadlift. The data were processed statistically using the SPSS v.27 statistical package. The researchers concluded that there is a similarity in the form of the movement path of the deadlift in the traditional way among the members of the research sample, without cutting the imaginary line descending to Earth’s gravity, except for one quarter, meaning 90% of the individuals in the research sample do not have a cutting of the imaginary line descending to Earth’s gravity.
