Evaluating the level of coaches in acting as leaders from the players’ point of view for some advanced team sports in Kirkuk Governorate

The importance of the research is evident in demonstrating the level of coach leadership in these games and informing the coaches of their level of performance from the point of view of their players for the purpose of evaluating themselves and correcting the correct path as a leader and in their correct behavior. The problem of the research was that it was necessary for coaches to evaluate themselves and know their true level of leadership of players from the point of view of the people they lead, namely the players, in order to be on the right path and correct their mistakes and ideas in leadership in the future.

The aim of the research was: to identify the level of coaches in acting as leaders from the point of view of the players of some advanced team sports games in Kirkuk Governorate.

The most important conclusions were:

1- The success of training and winning the match depends on the coach’s ability to act as a leader.

2-The results obtained for the coaches of Kirkuk club teams in football, basketball and handball games give an indicator of success in leading the teams and the coach’s behavior as a successful leader.

Accordingly, it was recommended:

1- For the purpose of successful training and winning the match, we must rely on the coach’s ability to act as a leader.
