A comparative study of the two cases of compound and fixed jump shooting with three points according to some biomechanical variables in basketball

Abstract

Scientific progress is still the most important path in our lives, which achieves the desired development to advance our reality. The most desirable  types of shooting among  players and the most percentage of use in the game of basketball is compound and fixed jump shooting. Basketball has developed and advanced its level, and  this type of shooting has been used from distances of up to (8m) or less. So ,the significance of the research was manifested by analyzing the biomechanical variables for the two cases of compound and fixed shooting . As for the problem of the research, not giving importance to this compound shooting . The experiment started from 10/19/2019 and ended 10/24/2019. The researcher used  the statistical program SPSS.                                                               The researcher concluded that the accuracy of the players' performance in fixed shooting was better than in compound shooting. The researcher recommends that the trainers confirm that the shooting should be performed by jumping from (fixed, dribbling, or movement) without focusing on shooting from the fixed.
