Lower extremity injuries of the youth football league in the coast of Hadramaut Governorate for the year 2023
Abstract
The goal of the research is to identify lower extremity injuries in the youth football league on the coast of Hadramaut for the year 2023 . The researcher used the descriptive survey method. The research sample included (134) players injured in the youth football game on the coast of Hadramaut Governorate, whose ages ranged from (17 - 19) years. The most important results reached by the researcher were that the most common injuries were ruptures (42.60%), and the organs most susceptible to rupture were the connective muscles of the thigh. The part of the body most exposed to injury was the thigh (52.47%), and the types of flooring in which injuries occurred were the most common. The floors are sandy (60.09%). The majority of times that injury occurred were in training units (50.67%), and the most common cause of injury was not warming up well (27.35%), and the injury was repeated for players (67.71%). The period of time during which the player was away from The field is more than a week (25.11%), and the researcher recommended paying attention to a good warm-up, especially before training and sports competitions, and working to qualify coaches scientifically to reduce incorrect training and deal with rationing the training load correctly.
