Abstract

The research aimed to know the reality of strategic planning for academic decision-makers in the colleges of physical education and sports sciences in Baghdad from the point of view of faculty members. The human field consisted of faculty members in the colleges of physical education and sports sciences in Baghdad. The research was applied for the period from 20/11/2023 until 20/01/2024. In the colleges of physical education (Al-Mustansiriya, Al-Jadriyah, Al-Waziriyah). The researchers concluded that academic leaders have the ability to arouse fear in us from time to time among faculty members. Academic leadership decision-makers stay away from the participation of faculty members when crises occur. Academic decision-makers have the ability to arouse the principle of encouragement and perseverance in work and give us warnings and directions for action. Well and far from being slow in working, the researchers recommended. The necessity of involving faculty members in decision-making, especially when crises occur, and the need for academic decision-makers to rely on the principle of rewarding and punishing faculty members in a fair manner, and to conduct courses and workshops on the importance of motivational leadership methods in motivating faculty members.
