Psychological endurance and its relationship to athletic ambition among the teams of Nineveh Governorate Education Directorate

Abstract

1.Recognize the degree of psychological endurance and athletic  ambition among the players of the Nineveh Governorate education teams

2.Identify the relationship between the degree of psychological endurance and  athletic ambition among the players of the Nineveh Governorate education teams.

The researchers used the descriptive approach in the survey method for its suitability for the nature of the research. The  research community included the players of the Nineveh Governorate education teams, numbered (90) players, and the research sample included (50) players, and  (10) players were excluded as an exploratory experiment .The researchers used two scales ,which are: the psychological endurance scale prepared by (Abboud and others, 2018), which consists of (31) items, as for the athletic ambition scale prepared by (Al-Karaawi and Muhammad, 2014), which consists of (30) items, and the two scales are applied to the Iraqi environment . After verifying the validity and reliability of the two scales, the data obtained by the researchers were statistically processed using (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Lierson’s simple correlation coefficient, t-test, hypothetical mean, percentage law)
