Abstract

The research included the introduction and its importance. The importance of the research lies in identifying the role of trustworthy leadership in enhancing the proactive behavior of futsal referees in Iraq. What distinguishes trustworthy leadership is that its leaders are confident in themselves and their importance appears on the field of play. The leader expresses himself through his correct decisions, which are reflected positively on his behavior. Trustworthy leadership enhances the sense of trust, belonging, commitment to the organization, job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, and ethical work among futsal referees in Iraq. The research problem emerges in the following question: Does trustworthy leadership have a role in enhancing the proactive behavior of futsal referees in Iraq? The research aims to apply the trustworthy leadership and proactive behavior questionnaires to the application sample to find the extent to which trustworthy leadership contributes to enhancing proactive behavior among futsal referees in Iraq. The Trustworthy Leadership Questionnaire for the Judges Committee consists of (20) statements distributed over four domains (self-awareness, ethical perspective, balanced treatment, and transparency of relationships) for each domain with five statements, while the Proactive Behavior Scale consists of (14) statements distributed over four domains ( Problem prevention, individual innovation, taking responsibility, vocal behavior) ) four statements for each of the areas of vocal behavior and individual innovation, and three statements for each of the areas of assuming responsibility and preventing problems.
