Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the relationship between kinematic variables and the discus throw achievement of the player with special needs, category F37, men, as well as to identify the contribution rate of some kinematic variables to the discus throw achievement of the player with special needs, category F37, men. The research sample consisted of one player with special needs, category (F37), who represents an elite group of national team players in the discus throwing event. He was chosen intentionally, as the player was given (30) attempts or observations, and all of these attempts were subjected to analysis and processing. It was processed statistically using the SPSS program. The researchers reached several conclusions that there is a significant correlation between the kinematic variables and achievement. They also selected the dynamic characteristics that are least related to each other and have a direct impact on the dependent variable (achievement) using the Lasso regression technique. The researchers recommend paying attention to the kinematic variables (launch angle, launch speed, height of the starting point) primarily in addition to other variables.
