Studying the reality of psychological stability during the stage of treatment, medical rehabilitation, and stopping daily training for injured players
Abstract
Continuity is one of the main principles in the sports training process, as it aims to ensure the completion and stabilization of the adaptation process, in order to maintain high performance among sports team players. The period of injury and interruption from training may be a risky period for psychological health, as injured players face the challenges of psychological instability, loss of self-confidence, and other negative feelings that may affect their performance and recovery. Hence, the importance of this study comes in exploring and analyzing the reality of psychological stability among injured players during the period of injury and absence from training and medical treatment. As for the research problem through the formulation of this question: What is the reality of psychological stability among injured players during the period of absence from training and medical rehabilitation? The researcher used the descriptive approach, and the research population was intentionally identified, which represented injured players registered in the Sports Medicine Hospital. The researcher built a measure of psychological stability consisting of four axes, conducted scientific studies on it, and then used it on the research sample. The researcher reached the following conclusion that players injured during the period of interruption from training and medical rehabilitation have an average level of psychological stability. The researcher recommended raising the level of psychological stability among female students in colleges of education.
