Self-monitoring and its relationship to positive thinking among students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul

The importance of the research is highlighted through the study of self-monitoring related to the student’s ability to harmonize his behavior and how to deal with the factors related to the educational process, through which positive thinking is activated, which helps to see things from a positive perspective, which is valued as a necessary support for students in continuing their academic and life path. The aim of the current research is to identify the dimensions of self-monitoring among students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul, and to build a measure of positive thinking among students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul. The researchers used the descriptive approach using the survey method and correlational relationships. The researchers used statistical methods, the arithmetic mean, the standard deviation, the law of percentages, the law of the hypothesized mean, the one-sample t-test, and the simple correlation coefficient (Pearson), and the researchers concluded the validity of the positive thinking scale applied to members of the research sample of students from the College of Physical Education. and sports sciences,
