Abstract

The  research aims  to identify the role of an educational curriculum based on the educational pillars strategy on learning the skill performance of  discus throwing among intermediate  school students. The researcher hypothesized  the existence of a positive role for an educational curriculum based on the educational pillars strategy on learning the skill performance among  intermediate school students by throwing the disc. The researcher used the experimental approach  of  the two-group method (experimental and control) for its suitability to the nature of the research. The research  population was determined from the second intermediate grade students at Al-Qalaa High School for Boys, whose number is (74). Two experimental and control groups of (20) students for each group, and the Statistical package  of  Social Sciences (SPSS) was used using the laws (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test for independent samples and related samples).The research results confirm the effectiveness of the educational curriculum based on the educational pillars strategy that helped  the research sample  respondents on learning the skill performance of  discus throwing among the sample members. The researcher recommends the need to use the educational pillars strategy in learning  all other throwing activities in athletics.
