Abstract

The researchers discussed the distinguished scientific and technological progress in all areas of life, and the research problem was the following questions: What is the level of physical education teachers in teaching competencies, what is the level of physical education teachers in communication skills, are there differences between physical education teachers and teachers in teaching competencies and communication skills?

The researchers used the descriptive method in the method of survey studies. As for the research sample, it was determined by physical education teachers in the Babylon Education Directorate, and two measures of communication skills and teaching competencies were codified. The most important conclusions were the absence of significant differences between male and female teachers in communication skills and teaching competencies. The researches recommended  it is important  for teachers to have an interest in communication, methods, and teaching competencies so that teachers can better communicate ideas, skills, and experiences to students.
