Building and standardizing the self-concept of advanced football goalkeepers in Iraq

Abstract

The study aimed to build and standardize a measure of the self-concept of the football goalkeepers for the advanced category for sports clubs in Iraq, and identify the skills of self-concept of the football goalkeepers of advanced the category for sports clubs in Iraq.

The researchers used the descriptive approach. The research community included football goalkeepers of the advanced category for sports clubs in Iraq, total number (193) and the researchers selected (178) goalkeeper as a research sample after excluding (15) goalkeeper who conducted the survey.  The researchers concluded that the research sample has a certain degree of self-concept of skill.  The mean of the research sample is above average.
