Abstract

The research aims to

  1. Reveal the effectiveness of using the strategy of learning teams and the traditional method of Refereeing and the development of aerobic and non- anaerobic capacity and self-confidence among students of the third stage in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Science / University of Salah al-Din.
  2. Reveal the differences between the strategy of learning teams and the traditional method in the post-test of Refereeing and the test of air and anaerobic ability and self-confidence among students of the third stage in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Science / University of Salah al-Din..

The researchers used the experimental approach due to suitability for the nature of the research problem. The research community was deliberately selected from the students of the first academic year at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Science / University of Salah al-Din for the academic year 2018-2019 and the number is (96) students divided into four sections. The research sample consisted of two students who were selected by simple random lottery (B). The final number of the sample was (24) students and (12) students in each group. The researchers took into account  honesty, consistency and objectivity of research tools. The educational program was prepared according to the strategy of learning teams, and the educational program included (24) teaching units distributed among the experimental and control groups and (12) units of instruction for each method. The actual experiment took (6) weeks during which the units were distributed by two units per week for each group. After the completion of the application of the program , posttests  were conducted to obtain the results and processed by statistical means (arithmetic mean and standard deviation, and a test for the correlated and independent samples
