Abstract

The  research objective  is to investigate the effect of the inverted classroom strategy on teaching some handball skills, and to reveal the significance of differences between the experimental and control groups. The experimental method was used for its suitability for the research nature . The research was conducted on the students of the second year of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences / University of Kirkuk for the academic year (2017-2018) as a research community and the number (126) male and female students divided into three study divisions are A B C .

ABC) The research sample was chosen randomly (by lot) from the original  community, representing the two divisions (B and C) respectively, where they were divided into two experimental and control groups (24) students for the experimental group studying according to (inverted class strategy) , (24) students of the control group studying in accordance with the (traditional method). Units  for the teaching of some handball skills in the first semester of the year (2017/2018) have been prepared,  and for the two groups according to the two methods proposed to be taught in the light of the content of the curriculum in the college. The implementation of the program took (7) weeks with two teaching  units  per week for both methods. After completion of the program, post-test was carried out and data were collected and processed by the appropriate statistical means. The researchers concluded the following  :

1.The inverted class strategy is in tune with the level of maturity and intelligence of students, leading to better results on teaching some handball skills.

2.The inverted classroom strategy allowed the student to be a pivotal and effective element to achieve better results in the teaching process.
