The effect of zinc intake on the accumulation of lactic acid after cooper testing among football Premier league referees

The sporting achievements that have been achieved and are still being achieved continuously with the sporting development that the world is witnessing at the present time requires us to make all efforts to keep pace with this development and in all sports sciences that athletes need. Therefore, the research significance lies in identifying the extent of the effect of zinc intake on the accumulation of lactic acid among football referees. The research problem is summarized by the lack of interest in eating nutritional supplements by referees, as these supplements have a positive impact on the referees' performance to make compensation for food lost as a result of the effort during the match. The experimental approach was used with two groups, and represented by the premier league referees h for the referees , numbered (120) referees .The research sample, which was chosen deliberately, amounted to (20) referees per (16.66%) from the research community. Cooper test was used for a distance of 450 m. Pilot study was conducted on a number of referees from the research community itself and from outside the research sample of (2) referees. After that the results were presented in detail and an analysis of these results in the light of the appropriate statistical laws, the researchers concluded that taking the zinc compound has had a positive effect in reducing lactic acid after performance. The researchers recommended to take the zinc compound by a period of time before the referees started training, as well as conducting similar studies to other compounds.
