Abstract

The research aimed to

- Identify the impact of the concept map strategy according to the advanced progressive  method on the technical performance level of some offensive skills in basketball  among  college students.

- Identify the impact of the concept map strategy according to the difficult parts method on the technical performance of some offensive skills in basketball  among college students.

-Identify the differences in the impact of the concept map strategy between the advanced progressive method  and the difficult parts in the technical performance of some offensive skills in basketball among  college students.

The two researchers used the experimental approach to design two experimental groups of pre and post test. The research sample was restricted to students of the Physical Education Department at the University of Sulaymaniyah for the academic year 2017-2018 and they numbered (20) students. To measure the level of performance of skills and conduct the pilot study  of scientific observation and the method used, parity between the two groups was conducted, and then measures included (identification units, pre-testing and applications of the two methods between and the post-test) . The researchers used the real statistical electronic data processing.
