students face a problem while performing the high jump performance in the scissors way and how to convert the horizontal velocity gained by the player to a vertical speed to cross the crossbar. The horizontal and vertical compound has a great importance in determining the course of the forces and the speed produced in collecting the height when jumping. Most of the junior students don’t have sufficient information on the values of the characteristics of the variables affecting the activity and by quantitative analysis of the extraction of the characteristics of the jump in the high jump activity ,vertical and horizontal compounds will be detected until the preparation is successful and appropriate treatment of what is wrong with the performance aiming to raise the performances level of learners in the least efforts and appropriate achievement .
The research objective is to identify horizontal and vertical velocity analysis and its relationship to achieving the high jump activity in the limited way for the first stage students. The research community is the first stage students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Qadisiyah University for the academic year 2015. (25) Students were represented by 100% of the society. The researcher gave three attempts to each student at each of the following heights ( 145 cm, 155 cm, 165 cm) as different (55) is a valid attempt. The researcher concluded that the most important variables contributing to the level of the supposed completion of the different heights are (horizontal compound, vertical compound, hip joint, speed obtained). The leg-height push-up drills increase the vertical thrust of the two blades during the upgrade phase to address the significant weakness at this stage
