Abstract

The idea emerged to shed light on studying the interactive role played by communication skills by contributing to the acquisition of proficient leadership skills among fencing teachers in colleges of physical education and sports sciences in Iraq. The research problem was in the following questions: Do communication skills in effective communication and the ability to persuade teachers help guide and motivate students in a fencing lesson? What is the role of teachers’ skillful leadership in motivating and encouraging students to achieve their personal goals? What are the challenges that fencing teachers face in developing their leadership and communication abilities? . The objectives of the research were to identify the reality and the relationship between brilliant leadership and communication skills among fencing teachers in the colleges of physical education and sports sciences in Iraq, to ​​identify the percentage of the contribution of communication skills to brilliant leadership among fencing teachers in the colleges of physical education and sports sciences in Iraq. The researchers used the descriptive method using a survey method to suit the nature of the problem. The most important conclusions were that fencing teachers in the colleges of physical education and sports sciences in Iraq have a high level of skilled leadership and communication skills. The researchers recommended the necessity of adopting the two study scales (skillful leadership and communication skills) in measurement in the colleges of physical education and sports sciences in Iraq.
