Abstract

The aim of the research is to reveal the effect of twinning the teaching methods of discovery and inclusion in learning some offensive skills in basketball and to reveal the existence of statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the post-tests in favor of the experimental group.

The researchers adopted the experimental approach because it suits the circumstances and objectives of their research. The research community was selected intentionally from middle school students.

The researchers used the SPSS statistical package to complete and process the data, and concluded that the synchronization of the two methods used (inclusion and discovery) contributed to students learning the skills of (handling and shooting with the basketball) in favor of the experimental group. He stressed that the individuality of the student's performance of the movement that is compatible with his capabilities and ability contributed to increasing his desire towards motor performance. The researchers recommended the necessity of synchronizing most of the teaching methods and identifying their advantages and adopting the methods that give effective results in work during synchronization and choosing exercises that contain continuous, competitive and exciting movement, because this would lead to increasing the student's movement during the lesson.
