The research aimed to reveal the effect of using exercises as auxiliary tools on some physical and skill variables for football players. In light of the research objective, the researcher assumed that the research sample has significant differences in the pre- and post-tests when measuring some physical and skill variables, and the preference would be for the post-test. The research sample was the players of Al-Jihad Sports Football Club in Wasit, and their number was (16) players. The researcher used three physical tests and one skill test, and in light of the results he produced, he developed special exercises that he applied to the research sample, starting on Saturday, 01/06/2024, and ending on Wednesday, 02/28/2024, and it included (24) training units. Hence, the researcher decided to study this case using exercises and auxiliary tools specifically for it. The problem of the research lies in answering the following question: Does training using special exercises with auxiliary tools and in the periodic training method work on developing the physical and skill variables of football players?
