Evaluating Physical Educators’ Performance According to Special Criteria from Specialized Supervisors’ Point of View

Abstract

Evaluation is an important aspect of administration and management so as to identify the teacher’s performance. The aim of the research is to identify physical educators’ performance from the supervisors’ point of view. The subjects were (68) specialized supervisor in Iraq (excluding Kurdistan). The questionnaire for physical educators’ criteria was presented by specialized team in the ministry of Education in Iraq electronically using google forms on supervisor. The questionnaire included (3) major fields (academics, skills, values and attitudes) distributed on (20) items. The data was collected and treated using proper statistical operations to conclude that the supervisors’ evaluation of knowledge field was good yet was lower than skill. Values and attitudes on the other had ranked high compared to other two fields.
