The effect of special exercises to strengthen the shoulder muscles and develop the skill of shooting from the hand ball

The research aims to:
1- Preparing a curriculum using special exercises to strengthen the shoulder muscles and develop the skill of shooting from the handball
2- Identifying the differences between the results of the post-tests for the two groups (control and experimental) to develop the skill of shooting from the handball game.
The researchers identified the research sample represented by the players of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - University of Halabja (2020-2021), and their number is (17) players, as the goalkeepers were excluded from the research sample, and this became the research sample consisting of (14) players, then divided them into Two control and experimental groups using the lottery method, and this became each group (7) players. The tribal tests were conducted on (9/4/2021), and the research methodology was applied after a day of the tribal tests, then the post tests were conducted on (20/6/2021). The researchers used the electronic statistical program (SPSS), the statistical package for the sciences, to process the data for the research.

The curriculum vocabulary, weight exercises, had a positive effect on strengthening the shoulder muscles, which led to the development of the skill of shooting from anchoring the handball in the sample, the emergence of significant differences between the results of the post tests for the two groups (control - experimental) for the skill of shooting from pivoting in the handball game.

The need to pay attention to strengthening the muscles of the shoulder girdle for handball players, which has a major role in the level of players in preparing the skills and the physical, using the proposed training curriculum with weights in developing the explosive power and speed characteristic of the muscles of the legs and arms during training of juniors and advanced handball.
