Handball is one of the collective games that have been positively and clearly affected by the development of science and the various theories associated with it in terms of the modernity of education methods and methods and preparing students to develop and build up their physical and skill level to help them reach the highest level.
The problem of the research lies in choosing the effective method to accelerate learning the skill of shooting from anchoring at the level of the head and developing the students of the fourth stage in handball. The research aims to prepare exercises with small games to develop agility and to learn the skill of shooting from the head level among students of the fourth stage in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in handball.
The researcher used a research sample consisting of 30 fourth-year students in the College of Physical Education and sports Sciences at the University of Babylon. The appropriate tests were selected for the studied variables of agility and shooting from the point of the head. Then, the researcher conducted the pre- tests and then prepared exercises in the style of small games for a period of 4 weeks by two weekly educational units, Sunday and Tuesday of each week, while the control group was working with the subject teacher. After the end of the curriculum period for the prepared exercises, the researcher proceeded to conduct post-tests in the same conditions, and then the data were collected and processed statistically using SPSS , and tabulating the results in a table and then analyzing, discussing and attributing them with scientific sources. The researcher concluded that exercises prepared with small games positively affected the development of agility and learning to shoot from the level of the head.
The researcher recommended the necessity of using the mini-games style in developing and learning handball skills among female students.
