The research sample consisted of players of the 10 cubs players of Alshurtaa(Police) club (the control group), and 10 cubs players of Al-Gua aljaweyaa (Air Force) Club a (the experimental group). Competitive exercises and a training curriculum were prepared to develop basic skills (handling) , Quenching, rolling, scoring). The researcher concluded that there is the weakness among cubs players with basic skills in football, and that the training curriculum based on competitive exercises had an effective role on developing these skills. Upon comparing the results, it was found that the experimental sample that used the training curriculum and competitive exercises developed by the researcher was better than the results of the control group that used the regular curriculum developed by their coach.
