Learning process requires the use of the best teaching programs followed and implemented properly to ensure access to the goal of the teaching process with the least effort and the fastest time, and handball became a game of the basic subjects taught in the faculties of education and sports science, so we must find the best ways and means aimed at speeding up the process of Learning and reach the highest degree of mastering sports skills. The research problem is that some of the teachers do not take into account the impact of modern teaching programs on learning defensive and offensive formations in handball among students. The research aims to prepare a teaching program in accordance with the planning approaches in learning and applying some defensive and offensive formations in handball among students, and identify the impact of teaching program in accordance with the planning approaches in learning and applying some defensive and offensive skills in handball among , and design a student performance evaluation form for defensive and offensive formations handball among students. The researchers used the experimental method to design the two equal groups with pre- and post-test for it suitability for the nature of the problem to achieve the objectives of the research. The research community consisted of students of the fourth stage in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences - University of Kufa for the academic year (2018 - 2019) and the number of (36) students, and the research sample included all community individuals .That means the researchers use a comprehensive inventory method for all members of the community. The most important conclusions were that the application of the syllabus of the teaching program followed by researchers according to plan approaches contributed in developing defensive and offensive formations and that the development in defensive and offensive formations in handball among students through the clear difference of the results of the experimental tests of the experimental group confirms the effectiveness of the independent variable and experimental control. The researchers recommended the use of the teaching program according to the planning approaches in learning and applying defensive and offensive formations in handball among students as well as stressing the use of planning approaches in the teaching of applied subjects because of their role in the development of learning and effective education, and to give a favorable atmosphere to the hearts of students and create motivation for the learning process to conduct research and other studies using similar approaches to the plan, for the rest of the applied lessons for sports in the colleges and departments of physical education and science Sports.
