Patterns of learning and thinking and its relation to the absorptive capacity among students of the Faculty of Physical Education and sports science

The research aims to:
- Identify the patterns of learning and thinking associated with hemispheres among students of physical education and sport sciences at the University of Mosul
- Identify the ab capacity among students of physical education and sports sciences at the University of Mosul.
3.To identify the correlation between the patterns of learning and thinking and the absorptive capacity among students of physical education and sports sciences at the University of Mosul.
The descriptive approach by the survey was used and correlation method for its suitability for the nature of the research. The research community consists of students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul for the academic year (2016/2017) of 252 male and female students distributed over three years of study (second, third and fourth), and then excluded the students ,totaling (62) so, the research community becomes (190) students, and then the research sample was withdrawn ,totaling (150) students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, who were selected randomly by (78.95%). The researcher used the scale of absorptive capacity of students of physical education, which was constructed by (Mohammed Suhail and Qasim Younis Hussein). The scale consists of four axes, as the number of the scale items is (63) divided into four axes, and the scale is of five alternatives (strongly agreed - agreed - agreed to some extent - do not agree - do not agree at all) as there is no correct and wrong answer. The correct answer is the one that corresponds to the student's opinion. The standard also includes negative and positive points in each axis, taking into account the evaluation aspect of the scale. The diagnostic scale for learning and thinking patterns related to the hemispheres, which was constructed by (Muhammad Suhail, ), and for each item (A - B). The student selects one of them and uses the appropriate means statistics. The statistical package of (SPSS) was used to perform the analysis of the research data. The results showed that the students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences enjoyed a good absorptive capacity. The study recommended Organizing and diversifying educational content and teaching methods so as to develop the characteristics of the hemisphere of the brain together, thus improving their absorptive capacity
