An evaluation study of the physical self-description among preparatory school students in Alanbar Province center

The study was conducted on a sample of students of the preparatory stage of the schools in Alanbar province for the academic year 2016-2017, which aims at evaluating their physical self-description. As for the research methodology and field procedures, the researcher used the descriptive approach to suit the nature of the research problem. He also used the scale of physical self-description, designed and prepared by Mohamed Hassan Allawi, which includes 60 items measuring ten dimensions (external appearance, body obesity, muscle strength, , Flexibility, compatibility, health, physical activity, athletic efficiency, physical comprehensiveness) as well as important sources and references in this area. The data were unloaded and processed statistically and placed in special tables, which were discussed in a scientific way based on the scientific sources. The researcher concluded that the total calculated average of physical self-description of preparatory school students was generally low compared to the mean.
