The design of a test to measure the speed of performance of the skill of the forehand for the Jadriya Academy of Tennis players aged (14-16) years

Abstract

The aim of the research is to build a special test to measure the speed of performance of the forehand skill in tennis, and to know the effectiveness of the test on the measured skill.  Where the researcher used the descriptive approach to reach a solution to the problem.  The research community was the Jadriya Tennis Academy players, who numbered (14) players, aged (14-16) years, making up (100%) of the total community. The researcher used (2) players for the exploratory experiment outside the sample, in order to obtain data and information related to  In the subject of the research, the researcher used observation, references and scientific sources, personal interviews with experts and specialists, and tests and measurements.  To find a solution to the research problem, the researcher used the statistical methods (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and skew coefficient) and the data were processed statistically by the statistical bag (spss).  Stability and objectivity and can be applied to other samples in the game of tennis, where the recommendations of the research were made the necessity of using this test codified by the researcher on the advanced tennis players, and this test can be used on the skill of the backhand.
