Abstract
Physical therapy and therapeutic exercises (sports) have an important role as a complementary department to the departments of sports medicine and treatment of athletes and the resulting rehabilitation of injuries after surgical intervention for athletes and the scientific foundations it requires in building therapeutic programs in rehabilitation. The shoulder joint is considered one of the important and vital joints in the human body and has great importance in movement. It is the only joint that has a wide range of motion at 360 degrees and in different ways. Among these injuries is the anterior partial dislocation of the shoulder joint, which is the focus of the research problem, as this injury is often It occurs as a result of strong and sudden movements, a fall, weakness in the surrounding muscles and their imbalance, or as a result of another injury to the shoulder joint. Boxing is one of the sports in which the arm is the basis of performance, and boxers are also among the athletes who are exposed to this type of injury. This It shows the importance of research and the need for it in preparing a rehabilitation curriculum for anterior subluxation of the shoulder joint and knowing the extent of its impact on this injury and the return of the injured to their normal state to practice their sports activity.
Which called for developing a curriculum to rehabilitate the injury of anterior subluxation of the shoulder joint using some physical therapy devices and rehabilitative exercises to restore the range of motion of the shoulder joint and the strength of the muscles surrounding and working on it, and to work to return the injured person to the normal level and practice his sports activity again. The research aims to prepare a rehabilitation curriculum for the injured. Anterior partial dislocation of the shoulder joint for boxers in the clubs of the Basra Governorate Center, as well as identifying the differences between the pre- and post-measurements of the range of motion of the shoulder joint. The researchers concluded:
The rehabilitation approach prepared (for anterior subluxation of the shoulder joint) has a positive effect in returning the joint to its normal position.
