Abstract

The game of football is characterized by a continuous offensive and defensive nature, through the performance of various skills and plans with or without the ball, and this depends on the mixed system (aerobic and anaerobic) in order to obtain energy, so the athlete (football player) needs to constantly replenish this energy in order to be able to complete the match on The best face. Thus, the importance of the research lies in giving a metered amount of water during the match and observing the extent of the effect of water on the anaerobic capabilities of young football players. From this standpoint, the importance of the research came through studying (the effect of consuming quantities of water during the match on the anaerobic capabilities of young football players). The researcher noticed that during football matches, quantities of water are drunk, so the researcher decided to study this case and whether there is an effect of water on the anaerobic capabilities of football players and the extent of this effect. The researcher used the experimental method using the equivalent group method, and the researcher concluded the following:

1- There are no significant differences between the first and second research groups regarding drinking amounts of water during the match on the anaerobic capabilities of young football players.

2-The researcher attributes the lack of differences between the two research groups to the lack of impact of the player’s lack of water during this short period on his anaerobic abilities, and it is likely that if the period had been longer, there would have been a significant effect.
