Quality of work life and its role to evaluating the performance of physical education teachers in Baghdad

Abstract

The research aims to adapt two measures of the quality of work life and evaluate the performance of physical education teachers in Baghdad Governorate. Knowing the quality of work life and evaluating the performance of physical education teachers in Baghdad Governorate. Knowing the relationship between the quality of work life and evaluating the performance of physical education teachers in Baghdad Governorate. To achieve these goals, the researcher used the descriptive method using the survey method and chose a sample of (200) teachers from the six middle schools in Baghdad Governorate. After that, the researcher, in his field procedures, adapted two measures of the quality of work life and evaluated the performance of physical education teachers and extracted the scientific foundations for them. Then the researcher applied the two measures to the research sample to extract the results led to several conclusions, including: the ease of applying the two scales to the research sample. Physical education teachers are distinguished by the quality of their work life and performance evaluation for physical education teachers. The researcher recommended several recommendations, including: the necessity of giving the teacher the opportunity to improve his performance through the evaluation process. Conducting other studies that include other measures as well as selecting other samples.
