The effect of using intensive and distributed learning method on improving performance and transferring learning among some skills of tennis and badminton

Abstract

The process of learning the skill at the present time is the basis on which we will build the level of sports activity , and that the correct programmed learning of the skill using different and modern methods and means of education, taking into account the educational level of students and learners. Hence ,the research  significance  manifested in selecting  one of the educational methods to improve the performance level of female students of Faculties of Education Sports in learning some of the skills of tennis and badminton. The research aims to identify the development of the front and back shot skills of tennis and badminton. By using the intensive and distributed learning method, they were transformed into the two skills of badminton as well as identifying  the best method that can be used to develop these skills. The research sample included (24) female students from the College of Physical Education - University of Babylon, who represent 75% of the research community, and the researcher used the experimental method to suit it. With the research problem, the researcher used the first White test to measure the accuracy of the performance of the front and back shot  skills, and the front and back shot  test in badminton . The post-tests were conducted after (8) educational units, at the rate of one unit per week, the duration of the educational unit is (90) minutes, as the educational unit included the warm-up, the educational and practical part, the final part, and the two experimental groups.
