Abstract

The research  aimed to identify the relationship between kinematic accuracy and the performance of the two free throw and peaceful skills in basketball in the research sample. In order to verify the objectives of the research, the researcher hypothesized that there is a statistically significant relationship between the kinematic accuracy and the performance of the free throw and peaceful shooting skills in basketball for the research sample. The researcher used the descriptive approach  due to its suitability for  the nature of the research. The research community was selected and its sample from the fourth stage students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / University of Kirkuk, for the academic year (2017-2018) of (30) students, and the sample was chosen by the deliberate method and with a strength of (14) students representing a percentage of 46% of the research population. The researcher used the questionnaire and test form as a tool for research and for processing data statistically. The researcher found a significant relationship between kinematic accuracy and free throw in basketball in the research sample, and the presence of a significant relationship between kinematic accuracy and peaceful

The researcher recommended the need to pay attention to the accuracy of shooting  in teaching basketball and teaching for long periods in order to develop this movement ability, and to conduct similar studies and research on different samples.
