The research aims to identify the obstacles of selecting the rhythmic gymnastics fields in research projects for doctoral and master's students and to identify the order of significance of the obstacles from the viewpoint of the doctoral and master's students, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / Dhi Qar University. The research community consisted of (35) students, then the research sample of female students was determined after excluding a number of female students for different reasons whose number is (6), and the participants in the exploratory experiment are (6) students, so the remaining number is (23), After unpacking the results of the questionnaire, the researcher concluded that there are three axes for the obstacles encountered selecting a rhythmic gymnastics fields in research projects for doctoral and master's students, and there is an arrangement of the obstacles within their axes according to their significance from the viewpoint of the doctoral and master's students, where the special obstacles (besides supervision) achieved the highest percentage among the three study axes, and the special obstacles (the subject) came in second place. As for the obstacles related to the study material came in the third place. This arrangement of axes is according to its significance from the viewpoint of doctoral and master's students, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / Dhi Qar University.
