The influence of tactical approach exercises and playing on learning the skills of handling and shooting in handball

Abstract

The research was characterized by the use of tactical approaches and playing exercises to teach female students some forms of handball handling and shooting skills. The research used the experimental method by designing two equal groups with pre- and post-tests. This study was applied to a sample of female students in the second stage at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - University of Basra for the academic year (2021-2022), who numbered (50) students, divided equally into two control groups. And experimental. Appropriate methods, tools, and tests were used that suit the research requirements, and after obtaining the results from the tests, they were processed statistically using the statistical package (SPSS). The study came out with conclusions, the most important of which are: Tactical approaches and playing style exercises have a clear impact on learning to perform the skills of handling and shooting handball for members of the research sample.
