Evaluating the level of performance of some volleyball skills for fourth-year female students
Abstract
The importance of the research lies in evaluating the skill performance of some of the skills of serving from the bottom facing and sideways and receiving the serve in volleyball for fourth-year female students by determining standard levels. Which serves as a guide for specialists in assessing the level of skill performance based on a scientific and objective formula and thus diagnosing strengths and using them to advance the learning process and its outcomes. The aim of the research is to determine standard levels for some skills: facing serve, lateral serve, and receiving serve in volleyball for second-stage female students. The researcher used the descriptive survey method to suit the nature of the research problem. The research sample consisted of (45) students who were chosen randomly, and the following conclusions were reached: The sample achieved percentages higher than the standard level in the third level (average) in all skill tests, and the sample achieved percentages lower than the standard level in the fourth level (acceptable) in the facing and sideways serving skill and in the first and fourth levels in the serving receiving skill. The researcher recommends the necessity of adopting the grades. Normative standards and levels in this study in the testing, evaluation and follow-up processes of female students’ skill performance.
