Abstract

The importance of this study came from the preparation of high-intensity interval training exercises with a fatigue index, which is a modern training method that causes a direct impact on the structure and muscles of the player and on the efficiency of the functional systems of the body. The research problem was diagnosed by the researchers in that there is a clear decrease in the efficiency of some physiological variables as a result of a decline in the performance of muscular work due to the increase in physical effort exerted. This was attributed to the presence of the phenomenon of fatigue, which leads to a decrease in the level of efficiency of functional devices. Therefore, the researchers sought to achieve their goals, which are to prepare high-intensity interval training exercises according to the fatigue index, which would have an impact on physiological variables. The researchers used the experimental method by designing two equal groups with pre-test and post-test (control and experimental), and the research population was limited to the players of Diwaniyah Governorate at (24 players). The research sample consisted of (16 players), and the sample was divided into two groups equally. Through the results of the research, conclusions were reached that high-intensity frequent exercise according to the fatigue index helped develop the efficiency of the heart and the physiological variables investigated. The researchers recommend conducting a study to determine the extent of the effect of training using the high-intensity interval training method according to the fatigue index in improving physiological variables in other sporting activities, especially group sports, on different samples and on the opposite sex.
